About Knoll Krest Farm

 

The Messerich family has been proudly raising all natural poultry and eggs at Knoll Krest Farm for generations. Here in the beautiful Hudson Valley, our happy hens are free running and are raised without antibiotics and hormones. We only use vegetarian feed. In recent years, development in the Hudson Valley has challenged our traditional small farm life. Knoll Krest Farm is one of the last egg farms in Dutchess County. To preserve our heritage, we have voluntarily protected our farm from development in perpetuity.

After a lifetime of farming in the Hudson Valley, in 2007 the Messerich Family partnered with our longtime friend Elizabeth Ryan, owner of the adjacent farm, Breezy Hill Orchard. Our partnership ensures continuity of our egg farm and enables us to continue to offer you our excellent farm fresh products. You can find us at all year at New York's Union Square Market and in Summer and Fall at produce stands throughout the Hudson Valley.
